이 프로젝트는 르 코르뷔지에의 이 문장에서 출발해 '거주자의 취향을 품은 집'을 주제로 삼았다. 집은 단순히 머무는 곳을 넘어, 시간 속에 쌓인 안목과 감각이 배어드는 정체성의 공간이다. 우리는 집을 삶의 흔적과 취향이 자연스럽게 쌓여 가는 장소로 해석했다.
공간은 장식을 덜어내고 비례와 여백으로 질서를 세웠다. 절제된 구성은 일상의 흐름을 방해하지 않으면서도 변해 가는 취향을 유연하게 받아들이고, 거주자가 자신만의 미감으로 공간을 채워 갈 여지를 남긴다. 거실·식당·주방이 이어지는 공간에는 얇은 날개벽을 세워 시선은 부드럽게 나누되 동선은 막지 않도록 했고, 생활 방식에 따라 공간의 쓰임이 자연스럽게 바뀔 수 있게 했다.
이 집은 완결된 형태가 아니라, 거주자의 시간과 감각에 따라 조금씩 갱신되는 '살아 있는 구조'다. 삶이 스며들며 비로소 완성되고, 한 사람의 취향이 곧 공간의 언어가 되는 집을 그리고자 했다.

This project began with Le Corbusier’s words and took as its theme “a home that holds the character of those who live in it.” A home is more than a place to stay; it is a space of identity, shaped by the discernment and sensibility that build up over time. We approached it as a place where the traces of a life, and the tastes that come with it, gather naturally.
We stripped away ornament and established order through proportion and empty space. The restrained composition stays out of the way of daily routines while adapting to tastes as they evolve, leaving room for the residents to fill the space in their own way. In the open living, dining, and kitchen area, a slender wing wall gently divides sightlines without interrupting movement, allowing the use of the space to shift naturally with the household’s way of life.
This house is not a finished form but a “living structure,” renewed little by little through the time and sensibility of those who live in it. We set out to create a home that is completed only as life settles into it — one where a person’s taste becomes the language of the space itself.
