UNCOMMON GRAN SEOUL은 안경을 구매하는 공간이 아니라, 시선이 형성되고 집중되는 과정을 드러내는 공간이다. UNCOMMON GRAN SEOUL reinterprets the optometry room not as a purely functional space, but as a central element that embodies the brand’s attitude and philosophy. Optometry is a process of moving from ambiguity to clarity, and this project translates that process into a spatial flow. The user’s movement is organized along a single axis, while intersecting lines of sight naturally converge toward one point. Positioned at the vanishing point, the optometry room operates beyond function, becoming the structural center where vision arrives. Dan’s House, Ground Floor Dan’s House is a ground-floor villa residence chosen with the hope that the children could live more freely and at ease. By reinterpreting the veranda as an active living area, the project transforms an apartment-like villa into a home that feels closer to a detached house. Rather than dividing the interior into isolated rooms, the space is conceived as a single, continuous environment—functionally connected like an ant nest. 단순한 거주의 틀을 넘어, 시간이 축적된 안목과 감각이 스며드는 정체성의 공간이다. 우리는 이를 ‘삶의 흔적과 취향이 자연스럽게 쌓여가는 장소’로 해석했다. 공간은 변화하는 취향을 유연하게 수용하면서도, 일상의 흐름을 방해하지 않도록 절제된 구성을 지향했다. 형태적 장식보다 비례와 여백의 질서를 통해, 거주자가 자신만의 미감과 질서를 완성할 수 있는 여지를 남겼다. LDK 영역에는 얇은 날개벽을 두어 시각적 분절과 동시에 기능적 유동성을 확보하고, 생활의 방식에 따라 공간이 자연스럽게 전환되도록 했다. 이 집은 완결된 형태가 아닌, 거주자의 시간과 감각에 따라 조금씩 갱신되는 ‘살아 있는 구조’이다. 삶이 스며들며 비로소 완성되어가는, 한 사람의 취향이 곧 공간의 언어가 되는 집이 그리고자 했다. “The home should be the treasure chest of living.” – Le Corbusier This project takes this statement as its point of departure, exploring the idea of a home that embodies the resident’s sensibility and taste. A home is not merely a frame for living—it is a vessel of accumulated perception and sensibility, a space that reflects identity through time. We interpreted this as a place where traces of life and layers of taste are quietly built up over time. The spatial composition was designed to flexibly accommodate evolving tastes while maintaining a calm, unobtrusive flow of daily life. Rather than imposing decorative form, we emphasized proportion and void—allowing the resident to define their own sense of order and beauty. In the LDK area, a slender wing wall introduces subtle visual division while enabling functional flexibility, so the space can adapt naturally to shifting patterns of living. This house resists completion—it evolves, renewed by the resident’s time and sensibility, forming a living structure in constant dialogue with its inhabitant. 자라나는 집은 아이와 함께 사는 3인 가족의 공간입니다. 보통 집은 가족 구성원의 변화에 맞춰 방 개수나 면적 등을 달리하여 새로운 공간을 찾아 이사를 하곤 합니다. 우리는 벽으로 공간을나누어 형식적으로 방의 역할을 부여하는 틀에서 벗어나고자 했습니다. 주거의 핵심 공간인 LDK를 제외한 나머지 공간(방)의 목적성을 지정하지 않고, 기능적인 레이아웃을 위한 최소한의 벽을 세운 뒤, 미닫이를 활용해 열고 닫음에 따라 공간을 유연하게 확장 또는 축소하고 개방 혹은 차단할 수 있도록 했습니다. 늘 부모의 시선에 닿아 있어야 하는 아이가 독립적인 공간이 필요한 소녀로 자라나고, 모두의 공간이 때로는 혼자만의 작업실이 되어야 하는 순간처럼, 구성원의 변화와 필요에 따라 직접 공간을 수정하여 사용할 수 있습니다. 유연하게 자라나는 집은 구성원들이 능동적으로 공간의 기능을 고민하고 가족에게 더욱 적합한 공간의모습을 찾아가는 과정을 통해 가족과 함께 공간도 유연하게 자라나길 기대합니다. *요리조리 통하는 집이라는 부제는 가족분들이 모든 미닫이를 열고 지내는 동안, 요리조리 연결되는 집 구조에 재미를 느껴 붙여 주신 애칭입니다. <img width="2000" "전통은 불꽃이 이어져 오는 것이지 그 재를 아끼는 게 아니다." 구스타프 말러(1860 - 1911) 오디너리 피플은 변화를 모색하는 미술관과 전시에 있어 그래픽 디자이너가 이어가야 할 불꽃, 그리고 나아갈 길에 대해 고찰했습니다. 그것을 바탕으로 논텍스트는 다양한 구조와 소재에 대한 연구를 통해 불꽃의 일렁이는 속성을 표현하고 새로운 시도를 상징하는 불길의 이미지를 재해석한 설치 작품 &lt;불길&gt;을 고안했습니다. 곡선의 금속 프레임은 시간의 흐름을 상징하는 동시에 과정의 길을 의미합니다. 관객이 프레임 안에서 걷는 행위는 변화하는 시대에 새로운 시도를 하는 주체가 되어보는 경험입니다. 이 경험을 통해 논텍스트는 오디너리 피플이 작품을 통해 전달하고자 했던 메시지를 미술관 공간에 드러내고 관객이 직접 작품 &lt;불길&gt;을 걸으며 우리가 함께 이어가야 할 불꽃에 대해 생각해보기를 바랐습니다. ORDINARY PEOPLE pondered the flame that graphic designers should continue to carry and the path they should follow in museums and exhibitions seeking change. "Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire." - Gustav Mahler (1860 - 1911) NONTEXT, through research on various structures and materials, expressed the wavering nature of flames and reinterpreted the image of Firewalking—symbolizing new attempts— resulting in the installation piece . The curved metal frame symbolizes the passage of time while also representing the path of the process. The act of walking within the frame allows the audience to experience being an agent of new attempts in a changing era. Using knot imagery, we metaphorically represented the connection with beauty, drawing inspiration from dressage, which were reinterpreted through design techniques like repetition, layering, and symmetry to explain 'pesade's distinctive heritage.
